The Residence is an award-winning Restaurant and Bar in Nantwich, within a gloriously elegant Regency building that was once the Lord Mayor of London's 'Residence'! You can wine and dine in style, with high standards of service, great cocktails and delicious food sourced as locally as possible. The wide, welcoming bar offers a refreshing selection of wine from most of the wine-making regions of the world, while the mirrored dining room is decked out in sophisticated blacks and golds and magnificent chandeliers. There are even outside terraces, just waiting for those lazy, sunny alfresco days to share a glass or two with friends.
The Residence was announced Best Food & Drink Venue 2010 at the Chester & Cheshire VCC Awards, who praised their use of local ingredients; their gorgeous seasonal menus can include the likes of loin of monkfish wrapped in serrano ham on a bed of sautéed Cheshire new potatoes with sun blushed tomatoes, caper berries and fresh wild rocket, or lamb cutlets marinated in a honey and mint reduction with chargrilled vegetables. Then there are the desserts - fruit pavlovas, pannacottas and Affagato (amaretti biscuits, white chocolate chunk ice cream with a shot of espresso & disaronno amaretto liquer)!
